The past year had been a banner one for the Women's Center for Advancement (WCA). After more than a century as the YWCA Omaha, on April 1, 2011, we transitioned to becoming the WCA. What has remained the same however, is providing outstanding programs that effect long-term change in the lives of women and families in our community.
Women's Center for Advancement (WCA) signature event, Tribute to Women, now in its 25th year, celebrates the achievements of Omaha's distinguished leaders. Plan now and mark your calendars to attend this exciting and historical event.
Women’s Center for Advancement will be launching a new program this spring — the Leadership Academy for Girls, which is designed for girls ages 10-14. The Academy will meet for nine weeks on Wednesdays from June 6 to Aug. 1.

The Women’s Center for Advancement will honor six outstanding Omaha women at its signature event, Tribute to Women. The luncheon will take place on Tues., June 5, at the Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel and Convention Center, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
